Blood Moon

Blood moon, a truly rare sight,
Shining, bright, on the starless night.
Its shine, emitting light bright red
Its beauty only understood by the mad.

Its crimson light shines upon the silent tide,
Where lost souls reside of those who died.
The echos spoken by the waves
Speaks the untold story of unnamed graves.

At last, as the darkness overcomes,
Moon, with its blood, to the abyss succumbs.
Its glow fades, swallowed by night’s deep maw,
Leaving only silence—cold, without flaw.

Yet all who saw will never forget
The blood moon’s gaze, a lingering threat.
Through silent woods the shadows crept,
Guarding the secrets the night had kept.
