Enemy of Disability

There are souls.
They leap in love
and lift humanity.
Lives are destroyed by defamation and definition.
Listen to our enthusiasm as we enter conversations.
Dare to defy decades of intellectuals’ thoughts.
The truth is that every day, I brace my body for war.
An adversary
attempts to attack
my agents.
Minds worry, while humans hurt.
Hurt humans are impacted by envy.
We engulf and engage in battles before us.
Neurodivergence has a name on needful plates.
The expedition is expedient and extends past islands.
Brains are lost,
loops in brackets,
looming for acceptance.
Colored communities code intelligence.
This does not determine all our capabilities.
My agents ascend and ascribe their asterisk.
My black pigmentation is a paste to persuade people.
We are worthy and worth acknowledging.
Poetry puts itself on pages in a manifestation manual.
My autism and ADHD have automatic actions.
Study invisible disabilities.
Lose the notion of negativity.
Education is not our enemy.
The enemy is judgment itself.
