Hell Shall Have No Fight

In the belly of carnivoric hell,

A heart began its tale to tell.

What once was lost in pits,

Still grips the soul in fits.

The heart cries out its pain,

Waiting for light—

Hell shall have no fight.

Old friend of mine is hell,

In its ashen wells

Lies brother's blood.

My heart floods it still—

Hell shall have no fight.

Hell knows not me all,

The heart is a thief's stall.

It has sent many to these cells

Which now it itself gracefully dwells—

Hell shall have no fight.

Hell was once bright:
Those lips, those eyes, that lover o'mine

Turning the hellish bloodwaves to gentle
shine.
Never a flower wilted so quick—

The heart keeps the corpse tight.

Hell shall have no fight.

With open arms hell stands,
Sheltering all that bends.
A flower blooms in the blood-soaked soil;
On those that leave, hell won't toil.
Open the eyes to the green bright—

Hell shall have no fight.

The green bright turns the heart red again.

Clouds of hell pour a calm rain.

The cuts make way for light—

Hell shall have no fight.
