Merciful

I want to stare into the deep dark eyes of the The Taker
And say
You have not listened to my pleas
You have denied me time and time again
You have washed me away all my hopes
With my own tears
I want you to be merciful
want you to take my hand and lead the way
To the churning fires of hell, or else
To somewhere much torturous
For even I know
My soul is far too corroded with sins
For hell to accept it
I want you to be merciful
I want you to, for once, spare
A glance my way
Just once, just once, and then
It'll be done
