My kind of love

My love, it's not weighted by my worth in their
life.
My love is a bundle — whole
It isn't found in words,
but in the way my hand reaches for theirs,
In the way we fill the room with laughter,
and it how I nod to their latest anecdote.
It's not in the thank yous or sorrys,
not in the casual — see you later — or in the
momentary joys,
My love lives in the excitement to plan a meet,
the surprise of a gift,
in the sweet pleas of forgiveness,
or in the pictures I insist we take,
My love isn't based on yours — I'd love you
despite anything
and against everything,
Because it's loving to the fullest that makes me
full,
and nothing can take that away
