Sweet, Sweet Dream

Sometimes I wish I could sleep forever
Then no one would try to wake me up
With words of hatred and command, and harsh reminders
That harshly remind me of my purpose
They say
The dead receive more flowers than the living
Maybe no one would leave flowers at my grave
Albeit have I done them no harm
But that does not matter
For all I desire for is eternal nothingness
To float away into that welcoming pit of black
And not look back, never look back
At the sad excuse of my life.
