We're playing a game

I was minding my own business when he came to me
He grabbed my wrist and took me to his bed
I was a kid and curious
I asked what are we doing?
He said we’re playing a game let’s not be serious
I was innocent and pure
I didn’t know anything at all
I wish what I’m saying wasn’t true
He made sure I didn’t make a sound
I remember the look on his face
When he smiled laying me down

I was weak and helpless
I was just a kid
I wasn’t strong enough to fight and decline
I was barely six

I closed my eyes feeling uncomfortable
I was ashamed and disgusted
I said stop this game is no fun
He breathed heavily saying we’re almost done
I swallowed my lump
He walked away leaving me there
The worst part is he was my best friend
We promised not to hurt one another
I wish this nightmare would end

I was in pain and I was silenced
I feared telling my mum so I stayed silent
I was disgusted by myself
I thought it was my own fault for wearing a Tshirt
But I was only a kid playing with my toys
One second I’m happy playing in my own world
The next second I was being his toy

After weeks and months the game was done
He stopped hurting me once and for all
He again became super friendly
As if those days never exists
I always pretend it didn’t happen
But my skin still stings
